Dental Implants in North London

Our lead clinician, Dr Punit Shah, has placed several hundred dental implants in our London dental centres. Not only does he carry out the surgical aspect of the implant procedure to a high standard, he also provides you with exceptional restorations over the implants. He is a General Dental Council Registered Specialist in Prosthodontic, the field of dentistry that deals with the replacement of missing teeth.

Punit Shah graduated from the University of Manchester in 2000 with BSc [Hons] and BDS [Hons]. He gained his Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery qualification, MFDS RCS [Edin] in 2003. After completion of vocational training, he worked in Restorative Dentistry departments at Leeds Dental Hospital and Guys, King's and St Thomas' Dental Institute. At, St Georges Hospital in London, he trained at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department. Dr Shah has completed his 4-year Specialist Training at the renowned Guys, King's and St Thomas' Dental Institute and is now an accredited Specialist in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (This is the field of dentistry relating to rebuilding natural teeth and restoring missing teeth with prosthetic replacements.) His specialist interest is in the area of tooth wear and implant dentistry.

Punit is a leading figure in the Dental academia circuit. He carries out numerous lectures and courses, guiding and educating the future generation of dentists on Dental Implantology.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Shah is a keen athlete and enjoys swimming, running and mountain climbing.
